If I met him, I would have the fear of drooling all over myself. haha.
I think it is best to not meet him at the moment. [:

I met him and Akil also and I was really amazed at how Akil does the whole song with his voice and guitar.

Now Kevin was just sweet and he gave me 2 autographs and 2 hugs (lo) then we had a picture together and he is a goofy person. His brother goes to my school and well that's where I met Kevin when he came to the school to give a performance and speak to us.I was very blessed to meet him. What got me was he spoke to my grandmother and told her to tell me to "stop being shy"...we had a small but special bond..enough to be remembered...He's amazing.Im happy I got to meet him.

I was BLESSED to meet Kevin & Akil here in Va Beach @ a listening party for Z104 radio station. Their live acoustic performance of "It Don't Make Any Difference" & "We All Want the Same Thing" was doper than dope & truly inspirational. Kevin is most definitely also a cool & humble brotha. WORD

I probably would have just been real inappropriate and just reached for his hair...it looks soo soft....lol but seriously i know how hard it was to not want to. im glad you got to see him live.

Ok,

I’m a journalist and I was covering the Lollapalooza fest here in Chicago. I was in the hotel waiting for them to get the media area ready and Kevin walked by with a plate of food and a grin screaming satisfaction. I saw his hair and my mouth dropped open. I stopped him and said I love your hair he smiled and started eating on his munchies with a smile. God it took every fiber of self-control not to grab his fro. I have a fro and he looked at me and said I’m loving yours too. I smiled asked how he was doing and he was so sweet. I realized he was ready to eat so I told him it was nice to meet him. I saw him about an hour later walking down the street and we gave each other the head nod. Then while I was getting ready to cover and Emily King and Lupe Fiasco concert I saw him walk in. I said man I should’ve known you were a musician and I asked who’s band are you in. He smiled and turned red slightly and his manager called him away. He grabbed my hand and gave me the excuse me face so I gave him my card doubting Id see him yet again. I’m in the audience and the concert starts... I see the guys he was with all day and I see an empty drum set. I immediately assumed Kevin was a drummer. He came out and walked to the front of the stage, looks down and sees me and gives that OMG YOU AGAIN FACE lol. We both laughed and pointed and he sang his lil ass off. I was amazed this guy was a full-fledged singer. He was so humble, cool, and approachable. He sang some song to me lawd if I were light skinned I would’ve blushed. I was grinning like Celie from the color purple when Shug Avery dedicated that song to her in Harpos juke joint. LMAO. Sorry had to paint a picture. Every since then Ive been promoting the young man. I didnt get my interview with him that night nor has his label caled me back and I know he isnt gonna call because I found the card I gave him sitting on the side of the stage... that hurt. But he was a joy to meet all in all.

Hope yall appreciate my adventure!
